This oil pastel drawing is a color study for a painting I plan to complete with acrylic on canvas. I wanted to convey a sense of softness, love, openness, and trust with this piece. The woman isn’t anyone in particular but she kind of has a Marge Simpson vibe now that I look at her. This one is done on recycled butcher paper because an artist isn’t wasteful.
