What type of commissions are you currently taking on?

The current commissions I am taking on are illustrations, paintings, short comic illustrating, caricatures for parties, teaching workshops, and murals. Anything outside of these please message me using the ASK HERE page link.

How do i commission a piece of art?

It’s easy! Just message me a description of what you are seeking to have created. Please provide reference photos as well because that will be helpful to the process. After we discuss the details and a deposit has been paid, I will begin working on the commission.

Are you willing to travel to complete a commission?

Yes, but the expenses for travel will have to be paid for by the commissioner of the artwork. If I have to cover the cost of travel expenses, then a reimbursement must be paid before the commissioned artwork begins.

NOW THAT THE COMMISSION HAS BEEN ACCEPTED, HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

Each request depends on the complexity of the project and what is needed for it to be completed. For example, an 11 by 14 inch acrylic portrait painting of a couple may take between a week to a month because the materials involved are easily accessible. However, a full color children’s book may take six months to a year because more is required to properly complete the task such as meeting to make sure everything is in alignment with the goals and visions of the client and needed revisions made.

Do you accept collaboration offers?

Yes, but the idea and goals of the collaboration must be clearly defined before I can accept working together. A scheduled conversation about the project must take place to see if we are a good fit for the mission of the collaboration.

What are your thoughts on bartering?

I am open to bartering artwork in exchange for things that I may need so long as the costs of each item is of equal value. Example, a small mural for a living room social area that is 6 feet by 6 feet in exchange for a new orange iMac with a matching wireless keyboard and mouse.

Hmm…if you want to take me up on that offer, email me BookRansburgArt@gmail.com with the subject line “iMac Barter” and we’ll figure out the details.

SO, DO YOU EVER TEACH STUDENTS?

Yes, I love to teach people how to expresss themselves through art! This literally brings joy to my heart. You can sign up for lessons for your or your child here!

If you have a question that I haven’t covered here, please feel free to message me your question.
