Zines 〰️
All of the zines below are first hand made by Justin Ransburg then refined by digitally inking later on. For mor art and zine update, check out and follow @RansburgArt on Instagram.
“Waiting at the Coffee Shop” is a perzine about the time I found a student i.d. in the parking lot of a local coffee shop in my hometown. This snapshot happened between finding it and just before returning it to its owner.
“Jump” is an accordion fold style mini comic about a moment in the summer.
“Qustions to ask yourself during tough times” interactive zine is a self-help zine that allows space for reflection on the go. I’ve found myself getting too hung up on details and made this in order to get to the heart of whatever was troubling me at the time.
“Safe is boring” is part motivational zine and part interactive self-help collaboration. It was born from a need to express myself in a way that could be helpful to others.
“JXN To LGB” This zine documents my first trip from Jackson Mississippi to Long Beach California for the LA Zine Fest. The images were drawn on Thursday, assembled on Friday, printed by Place Long Beach (a really awesome zine focused print studio) on Saturday, and available for purchase on Sunday.
“Use Your Voice” is a zine created using the theme of “music” and was created as part of the Fontella Zine Machine project. This zine is my first international collaboration. It was created in the United States, specifically Mississippi, and was printed, folded, and will be sold in Australia!
This zine was first drawn by hand then digitally inked using Clip Studio Paint.
